A 12.8L diesel V8 powering trucks, busses and heavy machinery from it's era. This variant is an army variant that was found in old TPz 1 Fuchs. Generates 240kW (320hp) @2500 rpm and 1000-1200Nm @1400-1600rpm. Civilian versions existed in three variants. OM402 which was naturally aspirated, OM402A which was the turbocharged version (and this is this version of the engine, just a little strogner than it's civillian counterpart), and OM402LA which had an intercooler.
