This 2 stroke monster, also famously nicknamed the "Screaming Jimmy" like the other Detroit Diesel 2Ts, producing between 2200-3800Nm (1625-2800lb*ft) of torque and between 615 to 1050HP. This spec (Turbocharged) of the 16V71 produces 875HP and over 3600Nm of torque. This monster is used for marine propulsion, power generation and heavy-duty uses.
