[Updated on 02 May 2023] Even if it sounds like two inline fours it is still a regular straight 8 engine. Old-style design of exhaust manifold where merge colector is just in the middle splits pulses evenly resulting in a smooth tone. Google some old Buick videos with stock exhaust if you don't believe me. I also tried to simulate 2-speed automatic gearbox of that time.
