This started as an experiment on combining a Wankel crank and rotors with a normal reciprocating crank, conrods, pistons and cylinders, unfortunately a Wankel is treated as an entirely unique and different engine type, with good reason given its an entirely different method of calculating every variable relating to the compression, displacement and whatnot, so I decided to try something else. I upscaled and somewhat rounded out a normal Wankel, from the 4-rotor's baseline numbers, and kept tweaking things from there until nothing resembled the original, I'd cut off three rotors, added one back on, changed the port angle and spark plug angle, and kept changing things until I had a low-revving high-torque rotary engine, basically exactly the opposite direction to what a Wankel normally is.
