After some fiddling around with a two-rotor design I managed to get over 1,200 HP out of a mere 873 cc. The relatively large rotor compared to the crank throw makes this somewhat akin to an over-square engine. Revs really high and requires a higher simulation speed to reduce sound artifacts at high rpm. It bogs under throttle at low rpm, and I'm not really sure how to fix that.

edit: I changed the flywheel and rotor masses and fiddled with the carburetors so the engine drops in rpm faster. This does lead to it developing closer to 1500 hp.

Specs:

  • 1,228 HP @ 17,756 RPM 1465 HP @ 18,160 RPM
  • 366 lb-ft @ 17,582 RPM 473 lb-ft @ 15,668 RPM
  • 873 cc/53 CI displacement
  • 2 rotors
