Using my minimal skill in engine sim and a great BMW N55 file from GearheadLydia, I present my attempt at making a bmw b58 with a zf8hp auto 8 speed gearbox.

It makes about as much power as a b58 in an x3 m40i, and you can do ignition-cut upshifts by holding WOT and pressing clutch + gear up together near redline (see video demo).

For some reason it also burbles above 5000 rpm, fortunately this also happens on the real b58 so no problems there
